 FAQs

A l’AcroPark, votre expérience, votre progression et votre sécurité sont notre priorité — voici les réponses à vos questions les plus fréquentes.

At AcroPark, we care about your experience, progress, and safety — here are answers to our most common questions.

  • Pole - shorts and tank top. Bring your own grip aid, 70% rubbing alcohol, and a small towel to clean off the pole. Make sure you remove all jewelry, zippers, buttons, watches.

Aerial Hoop - leggings that cover the backs of your knees. Please bring your own grip aid, 70% rubbing alcohol, and a small towel to clean the hoop. Make sure you remove all jewelry, zippers, buttons, watches.

Aerial Silks - leggings that cover the backs of your knees. Make sure you remove all jewelry, zippers, buttons, watches.

Aerial Hammock - leggings that cover the backs of your knees. Mandatory: T-Shirt that covers the underarms. This helps protect the hammocks from deodorant stains and sweat odour. If you wear a tank top, you will be asked to put on a t-shirt we keep at the studio for a rental fee of $5. Make sure you remove all jewelry, zippers, buttons, watches.

All - you can bring your own yoga mat for the warm up. We provide larger crash mats. Please tie up long hair for all classes.

  • There are classes for all levels. You do not need prior experience to participate in our classes. You’ll be surprised at what you can do in a few months’ time with regular practice. If a class is marked as advanced, please consult us before registering.

  • Once you know which discipline you would like to start with, simply register for a level 1 class. To start out, we strongly recommend taking one technique class per week and attending an open practice that same week to practice what you learned in class on your own. We have found that this approach yields the most progress for both beginners and more advanced students. We also recommend you take notes after class to remind yourself of what you did in class that week. You can also use video of yourself as a reminder (just make sure you follow your coach’s instructions for when it is ok to film at the end of class. Please do not film other students or your instructor). Please note that all beginners in pole must start with a 4-wee Intro class. All other disciplines start at level 1.
